Brandi Jones has answered the following questions in a recent interview:
Q: You were Sales Associate of the Year 2 years in a row, possibly
now 3. You have successfully closed 55 transactions in 2012. You
coached volleyball and volunteered in the community. What do you
attribute your success to?
A: PASSION! Benjamin Franklin said if it is passion that drives you, let reason hold
the reins. I am passionate about helping people and the more difficult the situation
the more passionate and reasonable I am. It is like an adrenaline rush. Real Estate is
surprisingly human based not only on reason but intuition, psychology, and a clients
financial, emotional, and physical well-being. When properly helping a client buying
or selling a home the client benefits in all areas of their life.
Q: What motivates you?
A: Making a difference. I feel that deeply rooted in each human is the desire to better
their lives and real estate is a vehicle in which many people use to accomplish this
goal. There are so many ways a home can reflect someones inner transformations and
betterment whether it is through sustainable home gardening, relaxing at a personal
home retreat, designing an architectural masterpiece, creatively becoming prosperous
with rental cash flow, and more. A home provides many many opportunities for
someone to better themselves financially and personally.
Q: How would you describe your style of real estate?
A: I feel real estate is like music and I am the conductor. I have to get all the players
to hit the right keys at the right time and in the right sequence to make beautiful
music for my client. When that happens it is a concert my client pleasantly remembers
for the rest of their lives.

I graduated from the University of California at Santa Cruz (UCSC). This is where I learned that Santa Cruz bubbles with a European-like passion for the arts, a Silicon Valley-like enthusiasm for technology, and an Eastern-like fondness of nature and healing. After graduating with a degree in East Asian Studies I never lost the liking for redwood trees, banana slugs, rip curls, and sweeping Monterey Bay Views. That is when I decided to stay in Sana Cruz and pursue a career in real estate. I soon discovered why the Santa Cruz Real Estate market was and is still so amazing. It is a market comprised of award winning townships, hi-tech inspirations, nationally acclaimed artists, world renowned surfing, picture perfect nature scenes, nationally recognized agricultural lands, and world renowned parks. I have kept my hands involved in this amazing community. I was a board of directors for the Capitola- Soquel Chamber of Commerce for 3 years. I participate in the Art and Wine festival each year in Capitola. I have worked for local fundraisers such as the Taste of Santa Cruz and Non-Profit night at the Shadowbrook. I was one of the board of directors for Main Beach Volleyball. I also support the United Way in Santa Cruz County. I enjoy hiking and running on the local beaches and parks. I am a competitive of beach volleyball player down by the historic Beach Boardwalk . I have been involved in the healing arts by participating in acupuncture as well Pilates. I have been a Pilates instructor at Joy of Movement in Aptos and I have recently was a volleyball coach for high school girls at Club Shoreline. Finally, I have combined all of this to have a wonderful "Santa Cruz" way of life that I can share with others.
My real estate roots started in Visalia, California. Before my parents separated my father was a successful real estate agent. I would beg him to drive me around all of the neighborhoods in town over and over again so that I could look at the "pretty" houses. All through high school and college I would drive through great neighborhoods just to look at the houses. I still carry the fondness for homes from my childhood and with that I have developed a satisfying career in real estate.
